The Head of Partnership Development at Occupational Awards Limited (OAL), Lee is responsible for all aspects of customer engagement and communication strategy, managing the relationships with employers and training providers for one of the leading EPAOs in the country.

Lee has led OAL’s business development for over 3 years and has been instrumental in their growth from a niche EPAO working in two specialist sectors to one offering EPA for over 30 standards.  OAL work with some of the UKs biggest brands including; Arla, Coca-Cola, DFS, Heineken, JD Sports, John Lewis, Kraft-Heinz, Mars, Nestle, PepsiCo, Rolls Royce, The Royal Mail, The Royal Opera House, Sainsbury’s, Screwfix, Travis Perkins, Unilever and Wickes.

Before joining OAL, Lee held a number of senior roles, including being a member of the SMT for the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink for 6 years.  In this role, Lee worked with trailblazer groups to support the development of a number of apprenticeship standards for the food and drink industry.

He has also worked in quality, teaching and assessment roles for a variety of training providers for many years as well as for City & Guilds and was an apprentice himself in his teenage years. Lee has a wealth of experience in delivery, assessment, quality assurance, product development, consultancy and EPA, holding degrees and postgraduate qualifications from three of England’s most popular universities in Leeds, Nottingham and York.
