Helen Shinner, Owner, 1st for EPA

Prior to founding 1st for EPA, Helen worked in marketing for many years before becoming involved in apprenticeships. Working for a training provider, Helen saw a gap in the market for an EPAO that was transparent and supportive, and in 2019, 1st for EPA was born.

1st for EPA has gone through steady growth and become a leading EPAO, working with over a thousand employers and providers nationwide. Helen firmly believes the success is down to the dedication of her team and the company’s commitment to putting apprentices first, going above and beyond to support every learner.
