Fraser has been working in the education and skills sector for more than 20 years, including six years as a Customer Relationship Manager for City & Guilds and three years as a Senior Manager within the Operations Division of OCR.

 

In 2010, Fraser became one of the founders and co-owners of Skillsfirst, an awarding and end-point assessment organisation that specialised in the Early Years, Health & Social Care and Business related sectors. With a focus on innovation, service and quality, Skillsfirst soon became the partner of choice for many employers and providers.

 

In March 2022, after a sustained period of growth, Skillsfirst was acquired by the VTCT charitable group of companies, where Fraser now works as Chief Business Development Officer. The organisation maintains three brands (VTCT / ITEC / Skillsfirst), works with c2k approved centres worldwide and certificates c120k learners each year.

 

Outside of work, Fraser served as a School Governor at a secondary school and was an advisory board member for Youth Employment UK.
